“MACCA – Music for a Beatle, only” Allan Wiliams, an adaptation of Paul Bignamini with Corrado D’Elia

MACCA is a nickname wherewith in Liverpool, his hometown, is called Sir Paul McCartney. The text gives us his pain and resentment of the early years of former Beatle, but also the will to be reborn as a musician on his own.

The love / hate for former mates and, above all, for his friend John Lennon, disappointments for the split of the group, the adventure with Wings and Lennon’s death, which occurred on December 8, 1980, are the main content of the text.

In a surprise ending, the forgiveness to the friend brings out the goodness of a character as great in its own way.
